Central banks around the world are introducing or considering digital currencies (CBDCs), and cash usage has been declining sharply in many countries. Some experts argue that the complete elimination of cash would reduce financial crime and increase economic efficiency. Others, however, warn that the shift to digital currencies could severely compromise personal privacy and marginalise vulnerable groups who lack access to technology. Do you agree or disagree that digital currencies should completely replace cash?
